Mytilene International Airport, also known as "Odysseas Elytis", (IATA: MJT - ICAO: LGMT) services both domestic and international flights from many European countries to Lesvos (Lesbos). The Mytilene airport is located 5 Km outside the capital of Lesvos.

Although small and simple, the airport is of good quality and has all basic amenities such as a cafe, car rental companies and a Duty Free shop.

Is 10pm Late for Dinner?

Greeks have their own sense of time; are late for most appointments and often use the motto: “Why do today what you can do tomorrow?” This easy-going pace of life places dinner, only naturally, at the very end of the day! Going out to dinner or eating in makes no difference as dinner is usually at 10:00 p.m. sometimes even later if it is a hot night.

If you worry it will take you some time to adapt please don’t, as all tavernas and restaurants serve all day, having their menus posted outside their door so one can check out the prices.
