Getting a Taxi - Locations
Mytilene has a very big taxi stand at the beginning of the shopping street (Ermou St.). There is a high chance you will come upon a taxi in any area around the town, especially by the harbour and the park.
Molivos has a taxi stand at the entrance of the town and Petra has a taxi stand located also at the center of the town. In general every town or village has at least a few taxis operating from early morning until late at night (approx. 1am).
You can reserve a taxi by calling Molivos' Taxi Stand at: 0030 22530 71286.If you arrive at the Mytilene Airport and you decide to get a taxi to go to Vafios or Molivos, it will cost you approximately 60euros. Usually, a one way trip from Vafios to Molivos costs 7 Euros and traveling from Molivos to Petra costs about 15 Euros. Rates vary per season and per company.
