Aegean Dream View

Enjoy the charm of a true Greek village. This 100 year old stone house in Vafios (Vafeios) has been fully restored and modernized in 2007, and has an incredibly beautiful view of the Aegean Sea.

Vafios, a quaint small mountain side traditional village with cobbled streets, is a few minute drive (4 km) from the sea, restaurants, shops, bars and tourist attractions of Molivos (Molyvos) and Petra.

A house ideal for a relaxing holiday, sitting on a terrace and enjoying what described by many, as the best possible view of the Aegean Sea.

SLEEPS Two to four adults. On the second floor a one master bedroom and on the first floor a triple seat sofa bed that unfolds to a comfortable double bed. Ideal for four adults or family of four!

FIRST FLOOR Spacious living room with fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven, microwave, electric barbecue, coffee maker, full set of dishes, pots and pans. Large bathroom with bathtub and washing machine.

SECOND FLOOR Light and airy bedroom (aided by overhead fan or AC if requested) with a spacious master bedroom, dressers, closet and storage. The bedroom has a private toilet and sink en suite. Beautiful view opening through the windows.

OUTSIDE Large stone veranda with dining table, chairs, deck chairs, and amazing view in daytime, at sunset, and of the evening lights of Molivos.

GARDEN Upper garden with flowers, olive trees and herb plants. Automatic plant watering system is in place.

Q: Why pick your stay at Vafios over Molivos?
Vafios (Vafeios) is only 4Km away from beautiful and exciting Molivos (Mithymna). It is easily accessible throughout the day by taxis (appx. 7Eur one way) or other means of transportation. Staying at Vafios is the best way to combine a relaxing vacation at a quiet village with the best by some traditional Greek mezes at the local tavernas. While at the same time, having the option to get to Molivos in just a few minutes. Many decide to exercise and have a morning 20 minute walk to the town center. Q: We have children. can we get extra beds/cots in the room?
Yes. There is a big chair in the study room that opens up to a comfortable single bed. In case of a baby a cot can be arranged. What do you need to do? To confirm availability prior to making a booking please fill in the contact us form and add the request for the extra bed/cot and the age of the children(s) in the comments box. We will do our utmost to accommodate your request.
Q: Is there Internet access?
ADSL Internet via model is available in various places in Molivos and costs approximately EUR 3.00 per hour. An Internet Cafe is located in the harbor of Molivos and in many cafe's all around Molivos, Petra, Kalloni and Mytilene.
Q: How do i cancel or change my reservation?
Cancellation: Based on the Terms and Conditions you can cancel your reservation free of charge 30 days before your arrival date. If you decide to cancel less than 30 days before your arrival the Deposit fee will be withheld. Change Reservation: You can always contact us to change reservation dates. We will do our best to accommodate you. We do not accept any reservation changes less than 30 days before your arrival date. In general we try to be as flexible as possible.
Q: What does the price include?
Please click on the facilities description to see a detailed list of what is included in the house. All extra facilities or requests that are not included in this list have to be arranged directly with us after making your reservation.
Q: Are the rates on the website per person?
The rates of the Aegean Dream View are not per person. They are referring to the booking of the house, including the facilities and utilities, unless stated differently and agreed by all members involved.
Q: Is there a deposit or a payment in advance I can make to confirm my reservation?
Yes, You will receive a confirmation of your booking by e-mail after you confirm the transfer of the required deposit (50% of the total amount). The remaining amount can be paid after your arrival. Please read the Terms and Conditions for further specifications.
Q: How do I know my reservation is confirmed?
You will receive an email confirmation from us, on the email address you provided during the reservation process. For future reference, please write or print your any information exchanged.

Q: How can I find directions to the house?
After the confirmation of your stay at the Aegean Dream View we will assist you with directions to the house from the airport and Gabriela will meet you to give you the keys and arrange a comfortable accommodation.
Q: Is there Parking?
The local airport is located in Mytilene, the capital of Lesvos. a one hour car ride to the village of Vafios (60Km away and approx. 60Eur with a taxi that we can help you book). Otherwise we can help you rent a car or arrange another means of transportation such as the bus but it is a little bit more complicated procedure yet cheaper. We can do the very least and at the same time the very best and share with you the knowledge of the locals.
Q: What are the ways to get around?
Free public parking is possible on site. Please let us know if you are planning to rent a car so that we can assist you with the process. We will be more than glad to help you discover our beautiful island and make sure that your holidays are comfortable. We help you arrange a rental car/scooter/bike/bicycle from our local car rental agencies.
Q: Are there fun things to do around?
Vafios is known as a quiet village, away from noise and stuffy crowds. There is a small center hosting a Taverna and a few locals having a glass of retsina, the local wine and enjoying the shade of a very old Platano tree. Yet, plenty of fun activities are constantly taking place in Molivos. We will soon include a Traveling Guide section to our website listing tips and ideas of how to make your stay at Lesvos just like the one you were dreaming of.

Aegean Dream View Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement

1.1 These terms and conditions form the basis of the agreement between you and the owner for the holiday rental of the Property named in the Invoice/Confirmation ("Aegean Dream View").

1.2 By submitting the Booking Form you agree that you are over 18 years of age and that you accept full responsibility for all payments due and for consequences of any actions of any persons who will use the Property during you holiday.

2. Booking

2.1 The owner will confirm the booking on receipt of the Booking Form and a deposit of 30% of the total holiday rental fee (e.g. "the Deposit").

2.2 Once the owner has confirmed the booking from you and has received the Deposit then an agreement exists between the owner and you on these terms and conditions.

2.3 The owner will accept a provisional booking and reserve the Property for your holiday provided that we receive the Deposit from you within 7 working days.

3. Final Payment

3.1 The balance of the holiday rental fee, the pending 70% will become due on the arrival date. If the balance is not received on time the owner reserves the right to cancel your booking and retain the Deposit.

4. Cancellation

4.1 You may cancel your booking at any time provided you do so in writing to the owner. If you cancel less than 30 days before the arrival date, the owner has the right to retain the Deposit.

4.2 The owner reserved the right to cancel the booking at any time in the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the owner or if in the reasonable opinion of the owner it is necessary to undertake essential works at the Property. In these unlikely circumstances the owner will endeavor to offer a suitable transfer of booking to an alternative date. If no such alternative date is agreed between the owner and you then the owner will refund in full the Deposit.

5. Change of Booking

5.1 The owner will endeavor to assist you in a transfer of a booking to an alternative date at your request.

6. Occupation of the Property

6.1 You must not use the Property for any purpose other than that of a holiday.

6.2 The number of people staying in the Property must not exceed the maximum number stated in the Brochure and the use of tents or sleeping in motor vehicles adjacent to the Property is not permitted.

6.3 You must not use the Property for any activity or in such a way as to cause nuisance or annoyance to neighbors.

6.4 You and your guests must comply with any reasonable regulations relating to the Property, or the site within which the Property is situated.

7. Your Obligations

7.1 You agree to keep the Property and its contents in the same condition and repair as on your arrival at the Property and to pay to the owner upon written demand any costs incurred in making good any loss or damage to the Property or its contents caused by your action or omission or that of any guest accompanying you.

8. The Owner's Right to Refuse/Terminate

8.1 The owner reserves the right to refuse any booking.

8.2 The owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and ask you and your guests to leave immediately if this is deemed necessary by the owner as a result of your behavior or that of your guests or any other material breach by you of the terms of this Agreement.

9. Arrival and Departure

9.1 The holiday rental period begins at 12.00 pm on the first day of the booking period and ends at 12.00 pm on the day of departure.

10. Description and Facilities

10.1 The owner will endeavor to inform you the time of booking, of any changes to the Brochure or website description of the Property, or of any events which may be taking place at its site near the Property during your holiday.

11. Tenancy

11.1 This Agreement is for the purpose of a holiday rental only and does not create the relationship of Landlord and Tenant between you and the owner. You will not be entitled to a tenancy or to any other form of statutory security of tenure as a result of this Agreement.

12. Complaint

12.1 If you have any cause for complaint during your holiday at the Property please notify the Housekeeper who will make all reasonable efforts to assist and resolve the issue. The owner will not normally make any refund or recompense in respect of a complaint made after departure if the complaint was not made known to the Housekeeper during the holiday rental period.

13. Lost Property

13.1 The owner shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any of your belongings or for any injuries sustained by you or any of your guests unless caused by the default of the owner.

14. Data Protection

14.1 All personal information provided to the owner will not be shared without your knowledge and consent, unless required by law to do so. Please refer to the Privacy Statement for more information.
